Case Study: New Color, Soft Touch
Material Improve Premium Tools
REQUEST
A major retailer asked us to enhance its premium line of tools with handles featuring permanent brand identification, soft-touch grip, bolder color, and a versatile fit.
WHAT WE DID
In consultation with the customer, Rolco engineers developed a design and material combination that is comfortable for the customer to use, durable, suitable for use on various tools, distinctively bright on the shelf or in the workshop, and formed so brand identification will not wear off.
RESULT
The product is visually dominant in a retail environment, resulting in strong sales. Material resists oil, grease and gasoline, adding value. Embedded brand identity eliminates a step in production and lasts longer, reducing costs and increasing the likelihood of repeat sales.
